What is Yuno Surveys?

Yuno Surveys is a market research platform that provides income opportunities to members by answer surveys or sharing their opinion about a specific topic.

After that, the member earns points which they can, later on, convert to gift cards. Yup, you heard that right. There’s no cash compensation here.

Anyway, Yuno Surveys is relatively new. They were founded in 2019, but I wasn’t able to track down the people behind it.

However, it doesn’t mean that the company is fraudulent in any way.

Paid survey firms not disclosing basic information is a common trend I found among GPTs and other paid survey sites. Some of them turned out to be legitimate.

The only issues with paid surveys are that they are low paying and unreliable. This is pretty much true with Yuno since you’re not going to receive cash but gift cards.

Not everybody is using gift cards, and most would still prefer cash.

I’ve also reviewed other platforms with similar nature in the past. You can check them out if you like—Tellwut, Octopus Group, Canview Connect, Dabbl App, Rapidworkers, Idle-Empire, GG2U, Opinionspay.cash, and LuxSurveys, just to name a few of them.

Or you may visit the website here to get the full list of the reviews.

The registration process

The registration process in becoming a survey panel for Yuno Surveys is relatively straightforward and won’t take much of your time.

If you want to join its growing company, then signing up is of no cost or free membership, so to speak.

Also, this platform is available in many parts of the world.

Click here if you want to redirect to their signup page.

As soon as you landed on their page, you will be greeted by their registration box that says, “Create New Account.”

Is Yuno Surveys a Scam

The initial step in becoming a survey panel is to provide your email address.

And then, you will be asked to confirm your email address. After doing so, it is only then you can officially begin the registration process.

Expected earnings

But before you continue, you will be shown how much the potential income would be—

  • 120 points are given if the estimated time to complete is 30 minutes.
  • 80 points are given if the estimated time to complete is 15 minutes.
  • 40 points are given if the estimated time to complete is 10 minutes.

What this means is that your earnings depend on the estimated time a survey panel is expected to finish a given task.

Demographics

The next step is to select which demographics you belong to.

It involves you answering your current employment status. It includes the following—

  • Employed full-time
  • Employed part-time
  • Self-employed full-time
  • Self-employed part-time
  • Active military
  • Inactive military/veteran
  • Temporarily unemployed
  • Full-time homemaker
  • Retired
  • Student

Other basic information

And then, you will have to provide other personal information that includes age, gender, how much income you make, and then other essentials necessary in helping them find you the surveys that fit you.

You have to take note that not all of the surveys available in Yuno’s database are from them. Some of it comes from a third-party.

And after filling in this information, you may receive a questionnaire from one of the third-party platforms.

The registration process is easy and supposedly should not consume much of your time.

How do Yuno Surveys work?

How paid survey sites, in general, are also pretty straightforward.

You will be given surveys to answer. And then, get paid as soon as you are done.

As mentioned, although Yuno Surveys produces their own questionnaires, some of the time, the surveys that you answer will be coming from a third-party member.

And then, the payment is in the form of points that can be converted into gift cards, as discussed earlier. I will explain later the merchants you can use it for.

Also, the survey panel also receives from inviting friends and using your personal link.

  • Upon successful registration, the survey panel receives 50 points.
  • And then, a 100 point is earned if they managed to complete three surveys.

That’s the basics of how it works! It is so simple, right?

But as simple as they may, the potential income from such isn’t that great as well.

In addition, you don’t get cash incentives, which I believe most people would prefer instead of gift cards. If you’re okay with this setup or a frequent user of gift cards, then this paid survey might suit your preferences.

If you want a better source of income, one that provides a higher and more stable income, then you have to check out the following description—

The payment process

Again, you don’t get cash as payment.

As soon as you decide to redeem your earnings, it shall be converted into gift cards, as repeated discussed in this review.

The list of merchants includes—

  • Amazon
  • Reward Link
  • Hotels.com
  • Nintendo Shop
  • Sephora
  • PlayStation Gift Card
  • TJ Maxx eGift Card

The minimum redemption threshold is 600 points, which gives you a $5 Amazon gift card.

Is Yuno Surveys a reliable source of income?

If you’re thinking of quitting your regular work and do survey gigs instead, then you are positively making a huge mistake!

Generally, GPTs and other paid survey sites are low-paying. And income from them is only as good as a source of extra income.

Most paid survey platforms I’ve reviewed, Octopus Group, Canview Connect, or Rapidworkers, provides cash incentives. But this isn’t the case with Yuno Surveys because the only way you can redeem your points is through gift cards.

Also, you have to take note that gigs won’t be coming as frequently as what you might expect it.

Is Yuno Surveys a scam?

I did not find any reason to believe that Yuno Surveys is a scam.

They are a legitimate company that provides income opportunities through paid surveys.

The downside of Yuno Surveys for me is that they don’t provide cash as payment for each survey you answer.

But if gift cards are fine with you, then you could maybe try this platform.

Anyway, it’s a good use of your time than mindlessly browsing social media or playing online games.

What I Don't Like About Yuno Surveys

Third-party members

Having a third party member means that you may have to provide them your details as well, and the problem with the setup is that there’s no way you can validate if the company is trustworthy.

No cash payment

As I mentioned, gift cards as primary payment is a turn off for me.

Most people would prefer cash than gift cards.

No BBB Credentials

The Better Business Bureau is one way most people do to check the credibility of a company.

Not having one doesn’t immediately indicate that the business is fraudulent in any way, but it will definitely impact the decision-making of the individual.

What I Like About Yuno Surveys

Good use of your time

Even though they do not pay you in cash, I still think that they are a productive way to use your time instead of playing games or browsing online.

Positive comments

Final thoughts

I hope my content has provided you the answer to these all-important questions—is Yuno Surveys a scam? Or are they a legitimate source of income.

Although the paid survey site is legitimate, I still don’t recommend Yuno or online money-making schemes unless you’re okay being paid with gift cards.

In addition, I doubt that the amount of the gift cards would be sufficient in supporting your monthly needs.

How I earn income online?

Affiliate Marketing is a better source of income than any GPTs, PTCs, or any online money-making schemes for a few apparent reasons—

  • It provides cash as compensation
  • It yields higher income
  • No risk
  • No upsells
  • It is free, to begin with
  • Income from them is more reliable
  • Unlimited income because you can essentially promote as many businesses as you want

Yes, what you’ll basically be doing is to promote a brand using an affiliate link through your online site.

And then, you earn income every time someone engages the link you’ve provided and then uses it to avail the products or services offered on the landing page of the brand you’re promoting.

Of course, the success of this endeavor relies on the quality of traffic being driven into your website.

If you’re a complete newbie and don’t where to begin or already have knowledge about how Affiliate Marketing works but struggling as of the moment, then I have an excellent solution for your concerns!
