You might have come across a platform called Tellwut as you’re searching for legit sources of income online.

In this review, I will provide you an analysis of Tellwut and help you determine whether this platform is a good use of your time or should you look for other income opportunities online.

Tellwut is a Canadian-based company that’s engaged in Market Research.

It was founded on May 27, 2010, and is currently headquartered in Ontario, Canada.

I wasn’t able to conclusively identify who the founder is, but it is currently managed by Ms. Judy Morson according to their BBB profile.

The company name is a little unique, but what it’s actually a shortened version of the phrase, “Tell us what you want.” Clever, but I’m still not a fan of the brand name, haha lol.

But I think the oddness of the name is a crafty marketing strategy to draw clients and workers. In my opinion, the word Tellwut does stick in my easily.

For this review, what I’ll be discussing is the platforms’ income opportunity.

If you join Tellwut, you’ll have a chance to earn money by sharing your opinion on certain products.

Also, it’s a pointing system, which means that you initially earn points after fulfilling the surveys.

However, take note that as of now, Tellwut is primarily available for individuals residing in the United States and Canada.

Individuals outside of the specified areas may join but with certain limitations.

I also reviewed other GPT sites in the past. You can check them out if you like—LuxSurveys,  Canview Connect, and Idle-Empire, just to name a few.

The registration process

The registration process is relatively simple and would only take a few minutes to accomplish.

Also, they don’t have any special skillsets. However, you have to be at least 18 years old to join. This is so because most of the payment modes in this platform (which I will be discussing later) have an age requirement.

Another thing to put in mind is that it is primarily open for people living in the United States and Canada.

Signing up is free, and upon registration, you get 100 points. And then, you also gain another 150 points after finishing the entire registration process.

How Tellwut works

As explained, you simply earn income just by providing your opinion on certain topics, materials, or product experience, maybe.

The length of surveys varies depending on person-to-person. And your client could be your co-member or from external clients.

With this being said—they do offer several ways to how to do these surveys. And it includes the following—

Answer surveys from members of the platform

Members of the platform can also create surveys and allow it to be accomplished by other members.

You can take as many surveys as you want if it’s from your co-member. And the length of it may depend on the topic they’re researching.

The topics usually include those in the field of entertainment, promotional advertisement, or funny images or short video clips.

You can participate in as many surveys as you want. And you can see how many points you’ll earn at the bottom of each offer.

Participate in surveys requested by external clients

Like other paid survey sites, they also accept requests from external clients.

These clients could be an organization or companies. But the length of their surveys is usually extensive and more professional looking.

But as long as they are, the pay is a little higher compared to the ones created by your co-members.

You may get an email notification of a job offer, or you may open your account and search for any gigs that are available.

Although the pay is higher, finding gigs in this format may be difficult. The number of gigs offered may depend on demographics and your current location.

If you are residing in North America, then the number of gigs you’ll be getting is more plentiful if you will.

Other features and ways to earn income

• Create your own surveys – as mentioned, you can create a survey and let other members of the platform answer it.
• Refer a friend – this feature is common in GPT and other similar platforms. You refer a friend into the system, and you point; as a result, 25 points for a successful invitation or 6 cents.
• Online forum – another great thing about Tellwut is that you can also interact with other members. Here, you can discuss important matters that revolve around your concerns and queries about Tellwut.

Your task with such platforms is not difficult. But as easy as it is, the pay isn’t that great as well.

The payment process

Most GPT and other online-money making platforms have PayPal as one of their payment options—it is convenient, and it is easily accessible by anybody as long as they are at least 18 years old.

However, Tellwut doesn’t offer PayPal. Also, they do not give out cash rewards.

What they do offer is payout through gift cards, vouchers, and e-vouchers. The platforms you can use include the following—

• Movie vouchers
• Retail vouchers
• Visa prepaid cards
• Miscellaneous merchandise
• Gift cards for Amazon, Walmart, Starbucks, Target, AMC Cinemas, Home Depot, Tango, etc.

You also have to take note you need to at least have 4,000 points to become eligible to request for payouts.

Four thousand points are equivalent to $10.

And then, the payouts in the form of gift cards could be sent through traditional mail or email.

Is it a reliable source of income?

If you’re thinking of quitting your day job and do pay surveys instead, then you are making a huge mistake, my friend.

There are only a few members of such platforms breaking into hundreds, but I doubt that it would be enough to help anybody with their monthly finances.

To give you a better overview of why the success rate is essentially low for GPT platforms like Tellwut, here are some factors you have to bear in mind—

• First of all, the pay is very low.
• Second, it is not a stable source of income. You may regularly land survey gigs, but it won’t still be enough.
• Such an industry is saturated that you have to compete with other applicants.

Potential income from Tellwut is only as good as a source of extra income.

If you’re from North America, then you’re supposed not to have any problems with the platform.

But as mentioned, your earnings may vary depending on what country you’re from.
