Thus, you might have questions like “is Everra a scam?” or “Are they a legitimate MLM business?”

In this review, I will give you an in-depth analysis of whether Everra is worth your money and time.

What is Everra?
Everra is a recently launched (2020) Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) that sells cosmetic and beauty products.
It was founded by Christopher Welch, who is also its President and CEO.
In 2017, Mr. Welch founded another MLM company that also sells cosmetics—Maella. It had temporarily closed because of an issue with Younique.
I also reviewed other MLMs if you’re interested—ACN, Stella and Dots, Usana, Univia, IDLife, Longrich, VeloVita, Ascira, RevealProducts.com, Navan Global, Farmasi US, and HB Naturals.
What is the Everra business opportunity? And its income streams
The compensation plan for Everra is typical. What I mean by typical is that it is complicated and very confusing.
It is not only convoluted but also oversimplified. There are no explanations or whatsoever, which left potential members hanging on what’s their possible earnings might be.
To me, I really find it hard to trust any company that doesn’t disclose basic information or explains its compensation plan clearly.
In reality, compensation plans are supposed to be easy—in my opinion. And it seems that MLMs are making their opportunities as convoluted as possible to mislead intentionally.
Well, this is my opinion, because basically you only earn through improving your sales volume. And you increase sales volume by making a lot of recruitments.
Currently, there are eight ways how you can earn with Everra:
- Retail Commissions
- Level Bonuses on Team Sales
- Group Bonus for Business Builders
- Rank Promotion Bonus
- Power Seller Monthly Sales Commissions
- Fast Start Sponsor Bonus
- Generation Bonus for Business Builders
- Matching Bonus
Now, let’s discuss them one-by-one…
Retail Commissions
The business influencer shall earn 25% to 30% of commissions of retail sales.
The percentage bonus shall depend on the influencers’ rankings.
Level Bonuses on Team Sales
An influencer shall earn 5% to 4% bonuses from sales incurred by their Lower network, three levels deep.
So, in addition to personal commissions you earn, you also get a bonus as a result of your teammates making sales.
Group Bonus for Business Builders
There’s no detailed explanation about this feature anywhere online.

The influencer with Rank 6 or higher levels earns 3% commissions on retail sales.
Rank Promotion Bonus
The influencer is stated to gain a one-time bonus when they reached Rank 6 or higher.
The summary is as follows:
- 1st to 5th Rank – no bonus.
- Rank 6 – $100 or £80.
- Rank 7 – $200 or £160.
- Rank 8 – $400 or £320.
- Rank 9 – $600 or £480.
- Rank 10 – $1,000 or £800.
- Rank 11 – $1,500 or £1,200.
- Rank 12 – $2,000 or £1,600.
Power Seller Monthly Sales Commissions
It’s a monthly commission based on monthly personal sales volume.
The influencer shall earn 5% bonus on 250+ PSV, 10% bonus on 500+ PSV, 15% bonus on 1,000+ PSV, and 20% bonus on 2,000+ PSV.
Fast Start Sponsor Bonus
This feature qualifies the sponsor of a new influencer for a bonus every time the recruit places new orders.
The 1st and 2nd ranks earn a 3% bonus, while Rank 4 to 12 receives a 4% compensation bonus.
Generation Bonus for Business Builders
As you reach Rank 6 or higher, you also become entitled to a Generational Bonus for up to three generations.
The percentage also depends on your rankings, such as follows:
- For the 1st and 5th Rank, there’s no bonus.
- Rank 6 – 2% bonus (1st generation).
- Rank 7 – 4% bonus (1st generation).
- Rank 8 – 4% bonus (1st generation) and 2% bonus (2nd generation).
- Rank 9 – 4% bonus (1st generation), 3% bonus (2nd generation), and 2% bonus (3rd generation).
- Rank 10 – 4% bonus (1st generation), 3% bonus (2nd generation), and 3% bonus (3rd generation).
- Rank 11 – 4% bonus (1st generation), 4% bonus (2nd generation), and 3% bonus (3rd generation).
- Rank 12 – 4% bonus on all generations.
Matching Bonus
It is a common feature we see in any MLMs.
It’s Everra’s unilevel scheme in their compensation plan.
The bonus is based on commission or bonus earnings of the sponsors’ personally recruited influencer.
Also, it shall apply to Rank 5 or higher only.
The summary is as follows:
- Rank 6 – $50 or £40.
- Rank 7 – $100 or £80.
- Rank 8 – $200 or £160.
- Rank 9 – $300 or £240.
- Rank 10 – $500 or £400.
- Rank 11 – $750 or £600.
- Rank 12 – $1,000 or £800.
How can you sign up for an Everra membership?
The signup fee is about $34, which includes the Starters’ package that contains eye mascaras, eye shadow, palette, and lip gloss.
Monthly charges were not clearly specified, but base on my experience with MLMs, recurring charges are essential in improving the personal volume of an influencer.
Can I make a reliable income with Everra?
The success rate in Everra or any other MLM is rare. I am not saying that it is not possible, but the probability of losing money is way higher than earning a significant and sustainable income.
In a report, it was stated that 98% of people who join MLMs don’t earn or even lose money.
This case was further explained in Dr. Jon Taylor’s book, “Multi-Level Marketing Unmasked.”
It was further explained that MLMs fail way beyond expectation because of two things—capitalization and recruitment.
Success in MLMs is recruitment-based and does not depend on how well you sell.
If the company’s product is that profitable, then why not just focus on the products instead of recruitment.
Also, you have to take note that Everra is not the only company selling cosmetics. There are brands that are more or as popular as Avon, Mary Kay, or Maybelline.
The market is so saturated that one of the ways to improve their income is through marketing. Employing an MLM business model enables them to advertise and save money at the same time.
They don’t have to worry about hiring an additional workforce or spending on advertising. Let the Influencers do it for you.
This is also one of the reasons why most MLMs products are expensive because they also have to think about commissions and bonuses.
Is Everra a Scam?
No. Everra is not a scam. They are not a pyramid scheme either.
They are legal Multi-Level Marketing that offers cosmetics and beauty products.
MLMs are sort of similar to the Pyramid Scheme, with the only exception of legality.
Negative Notes
Success is recruitment-based
For an influencer to access a higher source of income, they have to recruit and make retail sales constantly, and their lower network must do the same.
Everra don’t have a BBB profile yet
The Better Business Bureau, or simply the BBB is one way most people check the credibility of a business.
Not having a profile doesn’t immediately indicate that the business is fraudulent or a scam in any way. Still, it raises concerns for some people, especially for those who use the BBB as a source for ratings.
Not a good platform for beginners
Unless you’re a good salesman, then you might struggle to resell Everra’s products or recruiting new influencers.
Positive Notes
Fairly cheap membership fees, I guess
Its membership fee of $34 is relatively less expensive compared to other MLMs.
Final Thoughts
Although the business is technicality legal, I do not advise anybody to invest in Everra or any MLM businesses.
The business model of MLMs is flawed, and the probability of losing money is much higher than earning.
