What is Navan Global?

Navan Global is an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) that specializes in selling Health and Wellness products like CBD oils.

It was unclear who the founder of Navan Global was, but its current CEO is Terry Knight.

It was incepted in 2018 and headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee.

I have reviewed other MLMs if you’re interested, it includes—ACN, Usana, Zilis, Stella and Dots, and Univia, to name a few.

The Navan Global compensation plan and its income streams

Like any typical MLM, a member earns income depending on personal volumes.

And of course, personal volume is depended on how well you recruit and make retail sales.

But I doubt that a member can make significant income if they rely on retail sales alone.

The reason why I think so is that they are not the only ones selling CBD oils. There are more popular companies selling the same products, like for example Charlotte’s Web, Veritas Farm, Lazarus Naturals, and Receptra Naturals, to name a few.

To improve competitiveness in the market, most companies turn to MLMs to improve visibility.

MLMs are also very convenient, to say the least. It saves them from hiring additional workforce or expenses from advertising or promotions.

Therefore, it enables them to increase profits at the same time.

When you search for the compensation plan of Navan Global, you’ll probably see two versions.

The one that I’ve here is the compensation plan as of 10/01/2019, which is the latest.

There are four ways you can earn with Navan Global. It is as follows:

  • Retail Commissions
  • Customer Acquisition Bonus
  • Monthly Team Commissions
  • Promotional Rank Advancement Bonuses

Now, let’s take a look at each of them closely.

Retail Commissions

This feature is pretty much self-explanatory—you sell products, and you earn 20% income.

It really doesn’t matter if you actually sell the products or purchase it your own, you’ll still earn income.

MLM members do this to improve their monthly PV requirements.

Retail commissions are usually computed from the difference in wholesale cost and retail cost of the product.

Customer Acquisition Bonus

Depending on the starters’ package purchased by the potential recruit, earnings are from $75, $125, and $250 if you’re able to make signups.

They added that if you are able to recruit two or more members within a pay period, then you become eligible for doubling what you’ve earned.

For example, if you managed to make four recruits in a week, then that should $4,000.

Sounds exciting?

Well, don’t be.

This is because only $499 to $999 packs are entitled to this bonus.

So you have to be a hell of a persuader to convince someone to join in, considering how expensive the starter’s package is.

Monthly Team Commissions

It’s a term similar to the idea of residual commissions. It is where your commission is based on how you and your lower networks’ performance.

You and your networks’ performance are based on team volumes.

Beyond this, Navan Global didn’t provide much information about the specifics of this feature.

Promotional Rank Advancement Bonus

As the term implies, you earn advancement bonuses as soon as you are promoted to a certain rank.

The summary is as follows:

There’s also a certain specific for you to qualify for a Promotional Bonus:

  • Manager elite – you’ll earn $100 once you reach this rank.
  • Director – a bonus of $300 is waiting for you once you advance to this rank.
  • Rank Advancement Bonus – you’re going to earn from between $1,000 to $15,000 if you reach the ranks of Executive to Diamond. However, the member must maintain the position for a month to become eligible.
  • Leader Rank Advancement – you’re earning is anywhere from $25,000 to $200,000 once you reached the ranks of Double Diamond to Presidential Diamond.

How to become a Navan Global representative?

You need a representative before you can sign up.

And then, you have to choose which starter pack you would like to avail

Can you make a reliable income from Navan Global?

I am not saying that it’s impossible, but rather success is rare with MLMs.

In Jon Taylor’s book, “The Multi-Level Marketing Unmasked,” he revealed that almost a hundred percent of people who join MLMs either don’t earn anything or lose money.

It was further explained that MLMs fail to meet expectations because of two reasons—recruitment and capitalization.

For you to ever succeeding in an MLM setting, you need to do recruiting continuously and make sure that your lower network remains active and is performing as well.

In addition, promotion or advance in rankings is based on a pay to play scheme. It means that recruitment minimums and incentive payouts are encouraged to the member just to improve personal volume.

Take note that you have to purchase the starters’ kit, and then have to settle monthly membership fees.

In addition to membership fees, they have to reach a monthly quota for inventory turnovers for the sake of commissions.

And it doesn’t matter you accomplish your quota, whether you really make a sale or purchase it yourself, as long as you reach your monthly PV requirement.

This seems to me like your purchasing your own commissions, which may explain why representatives don’t earn as expected or even lose some investments.

Is Navan Global a scam?

No. Navan Global is not a scam. They are not a pyramid scheme either.

Naval Global is an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing)—which in my own perspective, a fancy name for a legal pyramid scheme.

MLMs are only legal because you get value in exchange for your so-called investments.

These values are the products you have to resell to improve personal volume.

If you want a higher source of income and one that’s reliable, then you have to check out Affiliate Marketing.

The reason why I recommend Affiliate Marketing over MLMs is free to start, risk-free, and way more profitable!

Negative Notes

Expensive membership fees

Signing up with Navan Global costs you from $300 to $1,000.

Success is recruitment-based

For you to earn significant profits, you have to be good at recruiting.

No BBB credentials

Although the Better Business Bureau or simply the BBB is not a definitive factor to identify the company’s credibility, it is the go-to rating agency for most people.

I don’t recommend it for newbies

If you don’t have experience with marketing or any type of selling, then you might find it hard to keep up with this type of business.

This is because there will be a lot of upsells.

Not FDA approved

Not having certified by the FDA does not immediately indicate that the products are unsafe, but it may be potentially risky to health.

Positive Notes

No negative comments, so far

As of now, I found no negative comments about the company’s products or its business opportunity.

But I wouldn’t be complacent if I were you. You have to remember that although businesses may differ, the structure and operations of MLMs are essentially the same.

As I explained earlier, MLMs are more focused on recruitment than anything else. And this type of model is a disadvantage to us because you have to really recruit to become a success.

Final thoughts

I hope my Navan Global Review has provided you the information you need to make the right decision.

Navan Global is a legitimate company, but it doesn’t mean that they are a good place to put your money into.

As mentioned, statistics show that people who join MLMs lose money than earn anything.
