Farmasi US is an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) that specializes in selling beauty products.
It includes products like shampoos, perfume, makeup, etc.
Farmasi US actually has a long history dating back to the 1950s when it was founded by Dr. C. Tuna, who passed away last 2017.
The company is running a traditional pharmaceutical company for 69 years until the board of directors decided to make business changes and become an MLM.

If you have experience with MLMs, you might have noticed how convoluted their compensation plan is.
It kind of feels like you really need to look hard into its business opportunities for you to understand.
But in reality, it's simple.
It's giving me the impression that they only make their compensation plan looked complicated, so it'll look more legit.
The compensation plan of Farmasi US is no different.
How it works is no different from a typical MLM, but somehow they made a seemingly simple calculation into something that only a rocket scientist can decipher.
In general, MLMs work through retail sales, but primarily when you recruit individuals into your network. And those lower networks do the same and remain active.

Basic membership starts at a one-time payment of $19.99.
The basic starters' kit contains a few products and brochures.
But if you want to upgrade your business, then you have to can do so with the following package options:

The income streams of Farmasi US
Now, let's take a look at each one of Farmasi's income streams and see whether they're really legitimate.
Retail Commissions
It's a basic feature in MLMs, wherein you earn 50% commissions when you make retails sales.
Welcome Program
It's a bonus exclusive to new members only.
It is where the member receives free products when they accumulate 200 of their personal volume for the first four months.
You can personally use the products, resell them, or give them away. It doesn't matter as long as you reach the bonuses' quota.
However, you need to be consistent in working with your quota. This is because you'll become disqualified for the remaining months when you fall short of their 200 PV requirement.
Founders Club
It's a bonus granted to the first 100 Beauty Influencers. The members of this exclusive club will receive a 25% bonus.
There are also other advantages that they may have—it includes:
- Free shipping
- Free monthly samples
- It includes an exclusive tour of Farmasi's factory in Turkey. All expenses are shouldered by the company.
- Free leads
- Receive exclusive products
- Free website exposure
As good as it may sound—the bonus is currently unavailable.
Team Building Program
The bonus you'll earn depends on the volume generated by your network.
The bonus percentages are as follows:
- 0 to 199 Group Volume equals no bonus.
- 200 to 399 Group Volume yields a 3% bonus.
- 400 to 599 Group Volume yields a 6% bonus.
- 600 to 899 Group Volume yields a 9% bonus.
- 900 to 1,399 Group Volume yields a 12% bonus.
- 1,400 to 2,199 Group Volume yields a 15% bonus.
- 2,200 to 3,599 Group Volume yields an 18% bonus.
- 3,600 to 4,999 Group Volume yields a 22% bonus.
- 5,000 or more Group Volume yields a 25% bonus.
However, take note that the percentage will apply to your Personal Volume instead of the Group Volume.
For example, if Group Volume is within 900 to 1,399 and Personal Volume of the member is 1,200, and then you'll gain $122.
Group Bonus
This feature is a bit complicated.
The bonus percentage is derived from the Team Building Program.
The Group Bonus is calculated by the personal bonus percentage, by your 1st generation networks' bonus percentage.
To give you a better understanding, refer to the simple calculation below—
For example, let's say that you qualified for a 22% bonus.
And your 1st generation network is within the 400 to 599 Group Volume range.
Your bonus is supposed to be as follows—(22% - 6%) * 400 = $64.
Leadership Bonus
Beauty Influencers eligible for this bonus are only those with ranks of Directorship or above and maintained a GV of 5,000.
The percentage you could earn ranges from 25%, 22%, and 18% in your 1st generation network.
The summary is as follows:
This feature is extremely complicated and confusing, which took me an ample amount of time to understand.
It seems like they don't want you to figure it out. Or they want you to hire a professional to comprehend the entire thing.
Tired Of MLMs?
Here is A Way Better Alternative!
In addition, they also mentioned another wave of bonuses.
- Second Generation Bonus – you get a 2% bonus as a result of the total difference of the group volume of 25%, 22%, and 18% in the 3rd level network. Also, a total of 25%, 22%, and 18% in the 4th level generation.
- Third Generation Bonus - you get a 1.5% bonus as a result of the total difference of the group volume of 25%, 22%, and 18% in the 4th level network. Also, a total of 25%, 22%, and 18% in the 5th level generation.
However, they added that before you become eligible, you have to fulfill certain requirements first. First and foremost, you have to satisfy side point requirements.
Side points depend on your bonus titles. It is the difference of 25% in your 1st generation network and subtracting the volume with the largest group of 25%, 22%, and 18%.

Title Change Bonus
It's a one-time bonus provided when you reached a certain rank and able to keep it for another consecutive period.
For example, you're supposed to earn $60 when you've reached the 25% bonus mark, and able to maintain it for another month. Or $150 for the 12% bonus mark.
However, for you to qualify for this bonus, you must have the highest bonus mark among your downline network.
Car bonus
It is a car allowance provided to their Beauty Influencers with rankings of Directorship or above.
The summary is as follows:

It is a bonus that qualifies those rankings of Golden Directorship or higher.
However, you have to keep the position for five straight months to become eligible for the bonus.
World Discovery Program
It's an all-expense-paid trip to Farmasi's factory in Istanbul, Turkey. Silver Directors or higher are only eligible for this bonus.
Is Farmasi US a reliable source of income?
I find it hard to imagine that a beauty influencer could earn any reliable income just by selling beauty products from Farmasi.
If Farmasi's products are that profitable, then they wouldn't have to rely on recruiting.
Doing MLM is sort of their way to cope with the competition.
You have to remember that they are not the only ones selling the products. And some of their competition is as well-known as or more popular than Farmasi's product.
Having recruits represent them, enables the company to make more profits by saving money from advertising. These expenses include advertising and hiring an additional workforce.
So what's this has to do with us?
It means that the only way for a beauty influencer to succeed is through improving their personal volume. And they significantly increase their PV via recruitment.
You won't be making enough income to pay your bills if you depend on recruitments alone. You have to be a hell of a recruiter to get sufficient new members.
According to Jon Taylor's book, "Multi-Level Marketing Unmasked," he mentioned that people who join MLMs lose money than earning anything.
Is Farmasi US a scam MLM?
No. Farmasi US is neither a scam nor a pyramid scheme. They are a legitimate MLM company that provides beauty products.
A pyramid scheme is illegal in most countries because it's pure money.
MLM is only legal because they provide value in the form of retail products in exchange for your so-called investments.

4 Reasons Why I Don't Recommend Farmasi US
Success is recruitment-based
The only way for you to earn significant income in Farmasi is through recruitment and your networks' ability to recruit as well.
Poor customer service
The company apparently has bad customer service, as shown below:
Not accredited by the BBB and has a poor rating
Although the business has credentials with the BBB, they are not accredited by the agency.
Also, they have a poor rating of "C" with the agency, suggesting that there are some areas where they fail to meet the expectations of customers constantly.
Not recommended for beginners
Unless you're good at selling, then you might find it really difficult to find a retail customer.
For beginners, their first probable upsells would be your friend, acquaintances, and family members.
It's awkward, to say the least, and may become a source of resentment in some instances.
If you're unwilling to take such a risk, then don't.

Fairly cheap membership
The basic starters' kit is about $19.99, which also includes products for resell.
But if you want to access better opportunities, then you may have to upgrade, as explained earlier.

This was very helpful; however, I would like to add that you do NOT have to purchase a package that includes pre-selected products for the New Beauty Influencer process to be completed. There is a significant savings in the different packages over purchasing the products individually, but it is NOT required. I bought only the items I was interested in when I joined, and they were 50% off. I have also had people join under me successfully without purchasing any products. I am not high on the food chain with Farmasi, but I do like the quality of the products. The fact that they do care about quality is important to me. I was first introduced to MLMs in the 1980’s with Amway. Most people join an MLM for the money and their business does not skyrocket so they leave soon after coming onboard. I think you can get what you want out of any business, providing it is sustainable, and Farmasi being over 70 years of quality products in business is pretty sustainable from my perspective. You can purchase franchise businesses for thousands of dollars and lose everything. I think spending $20 to get discounts on good products is worth it, and if I happen to make some money to pay for the products too, even better.
