What is Longrich?
Longrich Bio-science or simply Longrich is a Chinese MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) company that sells various products like healthcare, cleaning tools, and personal hygiene.
Longrich is also known as Jiangsu Longliqi Bio-science Co.
It was founded in 1986 by Xu Zhiwei. The company is operating under traditional business practices but decided to convert into an MLM in 2009 when the Chinese Ministry of Commerce approves their conversion.
Longrich is selling its products in over 50 countries, with its trademarks registered in over 180 countries worldwide.
We are not here to discuss their products, but rather determine whether their business model is feasible.
The Longrich opportunity and its income streams
It’s the nature of MLMs to provide convoluted compensation plans—which seems to me that they’re intentionally confusing people.
Different MLMs vary in some way. But essentially, the business model is all the same.
The basic idea of MLMs are supposed to be straightforward—it is you earn either through selling the products or building your lower lines (or recruiting new members).
Typically, the main income streams of MLMs are through recruitment and how well your downlines are recruiting and managing product turnover.
Longrich did not provide any PDFs for their compensation plan, and you have to be online and visit their website to investigate their packages.
Click the following description to see their compensation plan—Longrich International Compensation Plan.
There are different ways you can earn through Longrich, and for understandability, I summarized them as follow.
This bonus is based on personal volumes or PVs generated by you and your downlines’ performance through three levels—left and right-wing.
Also, how you earn income may depend on how you strategically place your Business Associates.
Thus, if you’re the lower line of another member, then you have no control over those under you, right? It means that this instance can have a significant effect on your earnings.
Performance bonus yields about 8% to 12% on your weaker downlines. These percentages are derived from the package availed the new member:
- QSilver is at 8% performance bonus.
- Silver is at an 8% performance bonus also.
- Gold is at 10% performance bonus.
- Platinum VIP is at 12% performance bonus.
It’s a percentage bonus based on personal volumes or PVs through a uni-level structure.
It means that you are supposed to earn about an unlimited 10% bonus from your downlines.
So besides the performance bonus, you earn another bonus beyond three generations.
But it is to be noted though that bonus is always based on your weaker downlines.
As you advance in ranks, you’ll also qualify for a leadership bonus that pays you commissions through 12 levels.
This is a classic characteristic of an MLM, where they seem to be more focused on product turnover and profits rather than marketing and selling the products.
There’s no limit, as long as you’ve managed a product turnover then you’d earn a bonus. Also, it doesn’t matter if you made a sell or purchased the product.
This poses a problem because it seems that they encourage members to buy their own products than selling them just to qualify for the bonus.
This bonus yields about a 4.5% bonus or $1.35 when your downline attains at least 30 of personal volumes. It qualifies up to 15 generations.
They also mentioned that you’re supposed to earn about a 21% to 45% percentage bonus based on personal volumes. This is, of course, after deducting your monthly 30 PV maintenance.
The summary is as follows:
- 0 to 99 of excess personal volumes = 21% of percentage bonus.
- 100 to 199 of excess personal volumes = 25% of percentage bonus.
- 200 to 399 of excess personal volumes = 29% of percentage bonus.
- 400 to 799 of excess personal volumes = 33% of percentage bonus.
- 800 to 1,599 of excess personal volumes = 37% of percentage bonus.
- 1,600 to 3,499 of excess personal volumes = 41% of percentage bonus.
- 3,500 and above of excess personal volumes = 45% of percentage bonus.
As you reached the 3,500 plus excess PV, then you’re qualified to advance in the ranks of Super Distributor.
They also mentioned that you’re supposed to qualify for another bonus they call SD Development Bonus, which they say gives you a 10% bonus of excess PV.
Longrich promises an all-expense-paid luxury trip if you get promoted to the rankings of Diamond 4 or higher.
Platinum VIP incentive
You’re rewarded with a 1% share of Longrich’s personal volume monthly as you reached the Platinum VIP Incentive.
Star Director Worldwide Incentive

Can Longrich provide reliable income?
The packages offered by Longrich range from $90 to $2,500, but if you want to earn, they tell you to avail of their expensive ones to benefit from huge bonuses.
But is making huge investments with them really worth it? Well, I don’t believe so.
Although there may be people who would tell you that they’ve made a fortune, I assure you that it is only a rare few. And most members are actually losing money than earning.
Ask yourself if the business is that profitable that why do they have to focus so much on recruiting than selling their actual products.
The answer is to cut costs. Employing an MLM business model enables them to save and profit at the same time.
An MLM model means they don’t have to address expenses like an advertisement or additional costs or salaries to marketing staff.
Suggested literature: Multi-Level Marketing Unmasked by Dr. Jon Taylor.
In this book, Dr. Taylor argues that almost 100% of people joining MLMs are actually losing than making money.
If this is so, is Longrich a scam? Or are they another a pyramid scheme? The sad truth is that they’re still classified as legitimate because you receive products in exchange for your so-called “investments.”
MLMs agents approached me in the past, and they are very good at speaking and trying to persuade people.
At first, joining them seems promising because of the supposed bonuses they mentioned.
But you have to bear in mind that recruitment is the main business of MLMs. It means that you have to draw massive groups of people to obtain such commissions.
Because of the many risks attached to MLMs, I do not recommend them at all.
If you want a much better way to earn income, then you have to consider Affiliate Marketing. It is a platform where you advertise a brand without the necessity to pay membership fees.
Also, Affiliate Marketing is risk-free and allows you to earn unlimited because you can represent as many companies as you want.
No BBB Profile
The first thing I noticed is that they don’t have a BBB profile.
For most people, the Better Business Bureau or BBB is their go-to ratings agency.
Although not having a profile does not immediately conclude that business as fraudulent, it does give you a sense of confidence to invest in the company.
The company is more focused on recruiting than actually selling the product—a common trait of MLMs.
Also, your success is not entirely rested on you, but mostly from your down lines.
High-cost membership fees
Although the basic startup fee is only $90, it won’t really get you anywhere unless you avail of their more expensive packages.
They are in business for quite some time now
The company is in business for more than 30 years now—surviving this long means that somehow they’re doing something right.
If you are qualified, then you’re eligible to receive your bonuses weekly.
Is Longrich a scam?
No. Longrich is not a scam. They’re not a pyramid scheme either.
Longrich is a legitimate Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) business model or a fancy name for a legal pyramid scheme.
As mentioned, they are legal because they provide products to sell in exchange for your supposed investments.

I hope my Longrich review has enlightened you on important issues and helped you in your decision-making about whether to invest in them or not.
But if you ask me whether to take a chance and invest in them, I say no…
I do not recommend Longrich or any MLMs for that matter.
Such business models are flawed, and the probability of losing money is more likely than earning any cash.
But if you want a higher and more sustainable source of income, then flip to the next section…
