Is Verway a scam? Or are they legit? Read this before you invest!

I’ve also reviewed other MLMs in the same field. If you want to read them as well, it is as follows—HB Naturals, Farmasi, IDLife, and Navan Global, to name a few.

We won’t be talking much about their products since our main focus is their business opportunity, whether it’s a reliable source of income or not.

The Verway business opportunity and its income streams

Complex and almost incomprehensible compensation plans are the hallmarks of Multi-Level Marketing.

It seems like you would need a financial expert to decipher the whole thing.

Verway’s compensation plan is no different—it is as convoluted as you can get.

The business rewards 18 different rankings. It is as follows—

Now, let’s take a look at the ways on how you can earn with Verway—

Home Party and Single Sale Income (Retail Commissions)

From the looks of it, this income stream seems like Verway’s version of retail commissions.

The ambassador shall earn 30% commissions based on retail sales.

Cash Back Bonus

The income matrix is as follows—

Ambassador – these are MLM agents that are within the ranges of 0 to 499 career points. Members under these rankings do not receive any cashback bonus.
Premium Ambassador – these are ambassadors that are within the ranges of 500 to 999 career points. Premium Ambassadors shall receive a cashback bonus of 8%.
Premium Ambassador (II) – for some reason, they have rankings with similar names (I just put the (II) to make distinctions). I’m not sure what they’re aiming but whatever. Apparently, they are those within the ranges of 1,000 to 1,999 career points. Premium Ambassadors (II) shall receive a cashback bonus of 12%.
Bronze Ambassador – these are ambassadors that are within the ranges of 2,000 to 3,400 career points. Bronze Ambassadors shall receive a cashback bonus of 15%.
Silver Ambassador – these are ambassadors that are within the ranges of 3,500 to 5,999 career points. Silver Ambassadors shall receive a cashback bonus of 18%.

Yup, you heard that right. They don’t provide any bonus for the basic Ambassador rankings. They only receive the 30% commissions as a result of the retail sales.

Performance Bonus

Members that are at least in the rankings of Premium Ambassador shall qualify for this bonus.

The basis of the bonus is as follows—

The Performance Bonus is calculated by subtracting the ambassadors’ PB level by the PB level of their first level networks.

To give you an example, refer to the following example—

Lifestyle Bonus

It is a bonus that qualifies members with the ranks of at least the Bronze Ambassador.

The bonus is summarized as follows—

Bronze Ambassador with 2,000 career points shall earn them a €30 lifestyle bonus.
Silver Ambassador with 3,500 career points shall earn them a €50 lifestyle bonus.
Gold Ambassador with 6,000 career points shall earn them a €100 lifestyle bonus.
Platinum Ambassador with 7,500 career points shall earn them a €150 lifestyle bonus.

Car Bonus

Nope, it’s not what you’re thinking.

They will not give you a car as a bonus. It is rather some sort of car payment assistance.

However, for an ambassador to qualify for this bonus, they have to reach a specific rank to qualify for this bonus.

The summary is as follows—

Manager/Bronze Manager earns a €500 car bonus.
Silver Manager/Gold Manager earns a €750 car bonus.
Platinum Manager/President earns a €1,000 car bonus.
They claim that the ambassador earns a €100,000 car assistance bonus when they reach the ranks of Bronze President.

Does this offer excite you?

Well, don’t be.

According to the FTC, only 1% of people who join MLMs succeed. I will be explaining this fact in the following sections.

Manager Bonus

To qualify for this bonus, you need to be at least in the managerial ranks. And at least have an eight personally recruited ambassador under your network.

These ambassadors under your network must also be active—meaning that they have at least 150 career points. And you also need 12,500 team career points or 10,000 personal career points.

The example of how the bonus works are as follows—

Super Manager Bonus

Verway states that they will reward managers who help their lower networks reach their 22% level.

It is unclear, however, what they meant with a 22% level. It was further mentioned that the company would no longer pay any incentives beyond the 22% level.

Also, the 22% level applies to every ambassador that reached the specified level.

The percentage of the bonus depends on which line it has occurred. The summary is as follows—

First-line – 7%
Second-line – 7.5%
Fourth-line – 8%
Sixth-line – 8.5%
Eighth-line – 9%
Tenth-line – 9.5%
Eleventh and above – 10%

Refer to the following example to understand how the bonus works—

Generation Bonus

Again, the 22% line factor shows up. It appears that the ambassador shall profit up to their 22% line.

Also, you have to be in the Silver Managerial position to qualify for this bonus.

The details of the bonus’ mechanics are as follows—

President Bonus

Upon reaching the ranks of the President, the ambassador shall earn 0.25% to 1.5% percentage bonus on their 22% lines.

The summary of how the bonus works are as follows—

Bonus ATM-Cashback

It is a bonus that Verway provides if the ambassador has completed its high-quality business sales or personal development training programs.

The payout, however, is in the form Ethereum—it is a type cryptocurrency.

Year-end Bonus

The bonus qualifies the ranks Bronze Manager and above.

In addition, they have to have to maintain the position from the very first day of January to the 31^st day of December.

The payout will be given on the 15^th of January.

Also, take note that the payout is credited in the ambassadors’ eWallet.

The summary of the bonus is as follows—

How much will it cost me to join?

In order to become a Verway ambassador, you need to purchase at least 150 career points or $150.

To remain active, you also have to maintain the 150 career points every 28 days.

Can you make a reliable income from Verway?

Success in Multi-Level Marketing is extremely rare. Just ask the Federal Trade Commissions.

According to their research, they found that about 99% of people who join MLMs incur losses than earn any profits.

This instance was elaborately discussed in Jon Taylor’s book, “Multi-Level Marketing Unmasked.”

It was further discussed that MLMs fail to meet expectations because of two factors—

Capitalization

Are you familiar with the term Garage Qualified?

It is an MLM term specially designed to describe ambassadors that tends to purchase excessively for the sake of improving career points.

As a result, they run out of money to fund their business. They eventually become inactive and quit altogether.

Recruitment

As you may have observed, your success in Verway depends on your network than their actual products.

If they believe in the potential of their products, then why not just focus on the products?

For newly recruited ambassadors, they may try to recruit the people they know first—family, friends, or several acquaintances.

Even though these people know the MLM consultant, it is no guarantee that they would invest in the company. Pushing the business opportunity to them may even lead to annoyance or resentment.

Doing MLMs is extra-difficult for people with no sales or marketing background.

But it becomes more challenging when they exhaust all the people they know and try to sell the business opportunity to complete strangers.

It eventually leads some of them to become inactive or quit altogether.

If you’re looking for a much reliable source of income, then doing MLM is definitely not the way to go.

Is Verway a scam?

I did not find any reason to believe that Verway is a pyramid scheme or an outright scam as of yet.

Verway is an MLM company that is in the health and wellness niche.

MLMs are technically legal because they exchange something in return for your so-called investment.

On the other hand, a pyramid scheme is illegal in most countries because they are high risk with a high probability of losses.

What you only get in return for your investment is a promise of high returns, which may never occur.

What I Don't Like About Verway

Success is recruitment-based

Your success in the business is dependent on building a large network.

No BBB credentials

The Better Business Bureau, or simply the BBB is one way most check the credibility of a company.

Although not having a BBB profile doesn’t immediately indicate that the business is fraudulent, it may definitely impact the decision-making of any potential investor.

What I Like About Verway

I can’t see any positives as of yet.
