It is a perfect opportunity for individuals who like to shop online to earn extra income through product refunds.

The company is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. It was co-founded by Eric Glyman and Karim Atiyeh in 2014.
Also, they are currently a subsidiary of Capital One since 2016.
Unfortunately, the services of Paribus are not available worldwide. As of now, they are only open to people residing in the United States and Puerto Rico.

However, before joining them, you must be at least 18 years old and residing in the areas specified in the previous section.
The registration process is relatively straightforward, which won’t take much of your time.
It includes filling in your name, contact information, and other necessary information.

- Enter your username
- Enter your password
- And then, click the “Allow” button to give the access to your email account

In order to continue with the registration process, you will have to provide any of the following supported email platforms—

- Microsoft Outlook
It is important to take note that the email address you’re going to submit is the one you’re using for your online payments.
The receipts from those online transactions are directly sent to your registered email address. Therefore, it is essential to provide the correct one.
Another thing you have to remember is that their platform is compatible with a specific type of web browser, which includes—

How does Paribus work?
Paribus acts like the middleman between customers and the merchant.
You don’t really have to do that much. The way it works is that Paribus tracks the purchases you have made in the past.
They will scan the email address you’ve submitted for receipts.
And then, in case of price changes, the company will take care of the rebate process and transfer the refund to your account. Therefore, the term “Personal Price Adjustment Agent” was used.
In addition, the company also offers a mobile application that allows you to use their platform conveniently.
You can download the app in the Apple store of iOS. However, it seems to be unavailable in the Google Playstore in my area.
You may check your Androids’ Playstore if it’s available.
But in order for their services to fully function, you have to give them full access to your email account as well.
What this means is that you’re giving them permission to read, send, and delete email messages in your account.
The reason for such is to effectively scan for receipts that are eligible for refunds in case of price drops.
Although the Paribus is owned by a legitimate company, it may still be unnerving to let someone gain access to your personal account.

The rebate process
Once they detected transactions eligible for refunds, they will inform you first that you’re going to receive a certain amount.
Next, all you have to do is to approve the request.
Afterward, they will directly transfer them to your bank account.
Or, if you’re not comfortable sharing your bank information, you can always use your PayPal account to transact with Paribus.
They also don’t impose a minimum withdrawal threshold. It means that you can immediately transfer them to your preferred account as soon as you qualify for rebates.
Is it a reliable source of income?
If you’re thinking of quitting your regular job and earn from rebates instead, then you’re making a huge mistake, my friend.
The prospect of online shopping and earning income may seem an enticing prospect, but it’s not going work—the pay is low and unreliable.
I doubt that earnings from such platforms would even break into the hundreds in a month.
It won’t be enough to support your monthly expenses, and you may still have to keep your day job while doing rebate platforms.
Is Paribus a scam?
I did not find any reason to believe that Paribus is a scam.
I believe that they are a legitimate company that provides income opportunities through product rebates from online purchases.
In addition, they are currently under Capital One.
Being owned by one of the most reputable financial institutions in the United States is a good indication to me that your credentials are safe with them.
They also stated at the very beginning of their official website that they do not sell your information to third parties.
However, some may still have an uneasy feeling with this setting.
If you’re not comfortable giving someone full access to your email account but still want to try Paribus, then I suggest that you can create another for this specific purpose.

What I Don't Like About Paribus
Access to your email account
For their program to work, you have to give them full access to your email account.
Although they are a subsidiary of Capital One, it’s still uncomforting that someone can access your private emails.
But if you’re cool with it, then by all means, or a much better proposal is to create another account for this specific purpose.
Only available in certain areas
It is only available in the United States and Puerto Rico.

You don’t have to do that much because Paribus will process it for you.
