What is Ring Bomb Party?

Ring Bomb Party is an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) that specializes in selling jewelry.

According to its BBB credentials, it was founded by Lillian Sanchez on December 31, 2016. The company is co-owned by Isabella Coleman.

The business is currently headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama.

I’ve also reviewed other MLMs in the same field if you’re interested in reading about them. It includes Paparazzi Jewelry and Stella and Dot, to name a few.

I won’t be discussing their jewelry products since our main focus here is their compensation plan—is it a reliable source of income or not.

So let continue and investigate more on what is Ring Bomb Party…

The Ring Bomb Party Opportunity

Complex and hard to comprehend compensation plans are the hallmarks of MLMs.

When you look at their business opportunity, it seems like you would need an expert in finance to understand what they are trying to convey.

This is not really new to MLMs. It’s a common practice they do to prevent potential investors from asking many questions.

They do so because they are aware that the MLM business model is so flawed that once they figured out, they may hesitate to join.

And to completely save their selves, what they typically do is to present you how much money you earn as a result of joining them.

Ring Bomb Party has somehow made an effort to simplify its compensation plan.

On their official website, you can see that they have minimized it to one page only. They have divided it into two main income streams, which are Retail and Residual Commissions.

Although they have somehow set their selves apart from other MLMs, it still doesn’t eliminate the fact that the business model they’re using is still flawed.

Just ask the Federal Trade Commissions about it. According to their study, the MLM model is so flawed that only about 1% of people who join them succeed!

Yup, that’s your likelihood of achieving financial freedom through doing MLMs. There’s still the 1% you might argue. But if you still want to take the plunge, then by all means.

Now, let’s take a look at how you can earn income with Ring Bomb Party…

What are its income streams?

When you look at the compensation plan of Ring Bomb Party, it may be daunting at first because of the number and percentages. But it’s pretty straightforward, really.

As mentioned earlier, Ring Bomb Party has simplified its compensation plan into two main income streams. Let’s discuss each of them, shall we—

Commissions based on Retail Sales

It’s a 20% commission that the consultant shall earn at all levels every time they make a sale either through retail customers, lower network, or themselves.

You get an additional commission percentage any time you reach a certain PV and able to maintain in a calendar month.

  • 1,000 or higher personal volume earns you a 5% commission.
  • 1,500 or higher personal volume earns you an additional 5% commissions.
  • 2,000 or higher personal volume earns you another 5% commissions.

That’s basically it. Let’s go to the other one.

Residual Commissions

You can qualify for this bonus once you reach the ranks of Citrine-Senior Hostess and above.

Basically, the bonus is based on qualifying volume as a team.

The 5% commission is consistent throughout the ranks, and an additional commission is provided when you reach a specific rank.

The commission percentage also varies in each ranking. It is summarized as follows—

  • Citrine – 5% commission is given to the senior hostess.
  • Amethyst – Party Leader (5%), Senior Party Leader (5% plus 2%), and Executive Party Leader (5% plus 2%).
  • Emerald – Party Leader (5% plus 3%), Senior Party Leader (5% plus 3%), and Executive Party Leader (5% plus 3%).
  • Sapphire - Party Leader (5% plus 4%), Senior Party Leader (5% plus 4%), and Executive Party Leader (5% plus 4%).
  • Garnet - Party Leader (5% plus 4%), Senior Party Leader (5% plus 4%), and Executive Party Leader (5% plus 4% and 2%).
  • Aquamarine - Party Leader (5% plus 5% and 2%), Senior Party Leader (5% plus 5% and 2%), and Executive Party Leader (5% plus 5% and 3%).
  • Opal - Party Leader (5% plus 5% and 3%), Senior Party Leader (5% plus 5% and 3%), and Executive Party Leader (5% plus 5% and 5%).

Does this all sound dandy?

Well, before you get too excited, you have to take note that you need to reach a specific milestone before you can start earning the discussed percentages above.

Also, you have to bear in mind that the success rate in doing MLMs is only 1%. I will be explaining this aspect in the next sections.

Anyway, here is the required team and personal volumes so you could advance in rankings and potentially earn a higher income.

What is Ring Bomb Party

How much will it cost me to join?

Registration would cost you $49 for the membership and a product purchase of at least $350.

And then, you also have to maintain at least a 350 personal volume or $350 worth of product purchases monthly to remain active.

There’s also a website fee that costs around $10 to $20 per month. I can’t conclusively tell since it was not clearly stated.

Here is A Way Better Alternative!

Can you make a reliable income from Ring Bomb Party?

Success in Multi-Level Marketing is extremely rare.

According to the research conducted by the Federal Trade Commissions, it was found that almost 100% of people who join MLMs incur losses than gain anything.

This case was elaborately discussed in Jon Taylor’s book, “Multi-Level Marketing Unmasked.”

It was further explained that people are more likely to incur loses, and fail to meet expectation altogether because of two factors—

Capitalization

You might have observed MLM consultants stocking a lot of their products in their homes—especially in their garages.

For this reason—the term Garage Qualified has been used to describe them.

It is a special term used to describe consultants that tends to over-purchase company product for the sake of improving or maintaining status.

The cycle continues until the consultant runs out of money or realizes that incurring expenses to the business becomes impractical.

As a result, they end up becoming inactive or quits the business altogether.

Recruitment

Recruiting new consultants into the business is the bread and butter of MLMs.

As you can see on their compensation plan, you have to create a large network to advance in rankings and earning a higher income.

For newly recruited consultants, the first people that may try to recruit are those that already know—family members, friends, and few acquaintances maybe.

Even though these people know the consultant, it is still no guarantee that they would invest in the business opportunity.

And it might even lead to annoyance or resentment if the consultant tries to push to the business opportunity.

Selling it is much more difficult for people with no sales or marketing background.

But it becomes more challenging once they run out of people that they could recruit and try to sell the products to complete strangers.

Not reaching a sufficient number of people under your network can be frustrating, and it may lead consultants to become inactive or quit altogether.

Is Ring Bomb Party an MLM scam?

I did not find any reason to believe that the Ring Bomb Party is a scam.

I think they are a legitimate MLM business that specializes in the jewelry niche.

This may be the case—I don’t recommend Ring Bomb Party or any MLMs for that matter.

What I Don't Like About Ring Bomb Party

Success is recruitment-based

Success is not dependent on the products they’re selling. It is based on creating a large lower network.

If they believe in the potential of their products, then why not just focus on selling the actual products instead of building a network.

Low success rate

As I have shown above, it’s proven by the FTC that the likelihood of anyone succeeding in MLMs is extremely slim.

Maybe Subpar products

I’ve read comments that the jewelry is cheap, and in some cases, it turns their fingers green.

Expensive products

The products they are offering are costly, which the consultant may find it hard to sell.

What I Like About Ring Bomb Party

B+ grade in the BBB

Ring Bomb has garnered a decent B+ rating in Better Business Bureau or simply the BBB.

This may be the case—it doesn’t immediately conclude that the business is credible.

There are businesses in the BBB rated A+ despite having backgrounds of malpractices. One example is a company called Advocare.

This instance is discussed in an online portal published by CNN—“Slammed by the Government, A-rated by the Better Business Bureau.”

Final thoughts

I hope my review has provided you enough information to determine—what is Ring Bomb Party, and it is a good source of income or not.

Although they are not technically a pyramid scheme, I still don’t recommend them if what you’re after is a reliable source of income.

The income potential is low, and your chances of incurring losses are much greater than gaining profits.

  1. We suggest your earrings should be split in two groups studs and dangling. Many customers comment they do not like the dangles and don’t order because they don’t want to get dangling earrings. So please consider making earrings in two groups I think you would sell more.
