These questions might be going in your head as you contemplate whether to invest time and effort in this company or is it best just to place your money somewhere else.
If you want to find to answer, then you have come to the right place.

What is MWR Life?
MWR Life is an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) company that specializes in various services such as vehicle repairs, insurances, holiday discounts, electronics coverage, legal, etc.
It was founded in 2013 as My Warranty Rewards by founders Yoni Ashurov and Jay Tuerk.
Without any clear products to sell, some might immediately dismiss them as another pyramid scheme. Or is MWR Life a scam?
I won’t be discussing their products any further since our main focus is their compensation plan—whether it’s a good investment or not.
I also reviewed other MLMs with the same nature. It is as follows—ACN and Ascira.
The MWR Life business opportunity
The compensation plan is like any other MLMs out there.
How they work mainly depend on two things—
Commission from product sale – as the term implies, it is the commissions from product availed either by their lower network or clients.
Recruitment – MLMs offer many types of income streams, but in reality, most of its commissions and bonuses are dependent on how large your network is.
You may see different ways-to-earn features, but it basically revolves around the said factors.
Most MLMs make their compensation plan as complicated as possible to evade potential recruits in ask many questions.
And then, to completely save their selves, they would just show how much you could earn by investing in them.
They show you luxury cars or mansions they own, but the truth is that they are only creating a lot of hype to make you spend some money and do the work for them.
With this being said—is MWR Life a scam? Are they just a pyramid scheme in disguise?
Well, not necessarily. Although there are scam MLMs like AdvoCare, it doesn’t mean that all MLMs are scam or pyramid schemes.
Some of them are legitimate, and I’m not saying that it is impossible to make earnings with them.
Well, it is possible for the 1% of people who join them according to research conducted by the FTC (Federal Trade Commissions).
Their business model is so flawed that 99% of people who join are likely to fail than succeed (which I’ll be explaining in the later sections).
MWR Life calls its representatives as a Lifestyle Consultant (LC). But for simplicity, I will refer to them as a consultant in this review.

In the following section, I will explain each of them.
And I have summarized it for you to understand it better.
What are its income streams?
The compensation plan summarized in this review is based on the attachment on their website.

And now, let’s briefly explain them one-by-one.
Fast Start Bonus
It’s a common feature in every compensation plan of MLMs.
It is their way to encourage new members to recruit more people, and in some way, motivate them to stay with the company.
The newly recruit consultant earns a $200 bonus if they’re able to recruit three new elite consultants into the company for the first twenty-one days.
In addition, they state that they are qualified for a Fast Start Bonus restart if they are able to make the requirement in seven days.
So it means that the potential earnings could reach $600 within twenty-one days if they are able to achieve the specified requirement.
Expansion Bonus + 25% Match
The consultant may potentially earn up to a maximum of $110 when they enroll newly qualified lifestyle consultants under your network.
And then, they earn an additional $25 bonus if their lower networks are able to recruit new consultants.
The summary is as follows—
Daily Residuals
Consultants earn a daily bonus when they are able to meet personal volume requirement—
- Six qualifying points from silver levels from personally recruited consultants.
- Nine qualifying points from gold levels from personally recruited consultants.
Bonuses are paid weekly.
The earnings of each consultant also depend on what they call Tri-Line Points. In common MLM terminology, it depends on the total group volume.

Booking Bonuses
It is an incentive given when the consultant reaches a certain position or fulfill a requirement.
It has two types of bonuses—
- Guest Pass Booking Bonus – when a consultants’ Guest Pass member was able to save money from their travel bookings, the business claims that they receive a bonus. It is said to equal 100% of the savings and another 50% from their guest.
- Leadership Booking Bonus – it is a bonus that only qualifies those in the Area Manager positions. It is also a bonus based on the savings of the Travel Advantage members.
Presidential Club
You gain recognition when you reach the District Manager position and obtain a gold one daily residual.
How much will it cost me to join?
Initial membership would cost you $99. Not only that, but you also have to settle $30 monthly membership fees.
You have the option not to pay the monthly fees, but you won’t be receiving the full benefits of their compensation plan as well.
You’ll not have the ability to create a lower network, which is the most basic way to earn significant income in any MLMs.

Can you make a reliable income from MWR Life?
Success and earning reliable income in MLMs are extremely rare. Just ask the Federal Trade Commission. (1)
It was found that 99.997% of people who join MLMs lose money than earn anything. It means that the loss rate is virtually 100% if you rounded off the figure!
This instance was also elaborately discussed in Jon Taylor’s book, “Multi-Level Marketing Unmasked.”
It was further explained that MLMs fail to meet expectation because of two things—
Capitalization
You have to settle monthly fees even if you don’t earn or incur losses. Thus, it eventually leads to the consultant quitting the business.
Recruitment
It is the bread and butter of MLMs. It is where most of the consultants’ income will be coming from.
Recruitment becomes problematic if they were unable to recruit sufficient people under their network.
Of course, the first people that they have to recruit are friends, loved ones, and acquaintances. And of course, it’s no guarantee that they could recruit all of them.
In most cases, such instances can lead to annoyance and, eventually, resentment among you and them.
The challenging part is when you’re finally done coming to people you know and then selling the business opportunity to those you don’t know.
It is especially difficult for people with no sales background. So as you can see, it is not really for everybody.

Is MWR Life a scam?
No. MWR Life is neither a scam or pyramid scheme.
Although they don’t have tangible products to sell, they are still considered a legitimate Multi-Level Marketing that specializes in various services like electronics coverage, insurance, etc.
Some of you might argue that MWR Life is really a Pyramid Scheme in disguise. Although I agree to some degree, MLMs are technically legal.
They are legal because you receive something of value in exchange for your so-called investment. And these values are in the form of products or services that can be sold to consumers.
Pyramid schemes are illegal because they are high risk, and the likelihood of losing money is way much higher than earning profits.
Either case, I don’t recommend MWR Life or any MLMs for that matter.
As emphasized earlier, almost 100% of people who join them don’t earn anything or incur losses.
What I Don't Like About MWR Life
Success is recruitment-based
Your chances of advancing and earning higher income are dependent on your ability to recruit people.
You also have to rely on your lower networks’ capability to bring in more people. And you have to make sure that they remain active and being productive.
No BBB ratings
MWR Life has positive product comments, but no ratings.
For most people, the Better Business Bureau is one way they check the credibility of a business.
Although I don’t believe that the ratings may affect significantly, it will affect their decision-making nevertheless.

Final Thoughts
Although they may have positive product reviews, their business may not be a good investment.
With no tangible products to sell, some may render them a pyramid scheme or an outright scam.
They are still legitimate, though, but I still do not recommend them or any MLMs for that matter.
As I emphasized earlier, the success rate in MLMs is extremely low, and the likelihood of losing is greater than gaining profits.
